An overpass near Snoqualmie Pass in Washington will soon be completed and ready for elk, deer, bears and all kinds of other wildlife to use.
According to the Seattle Times, approximately 28,000 cars and trucks pass over the area on a daily basis with double the amount of weekends. The region is a busy wildlife corridor where vehicle-wildlife collisions are too common.
The state plans to build a series of underpasses and overpasses to help with animal movement and improve public safety.
