Elk NetworkVolunteers Step Up to Help Washington Elk Country

General | May 12, 2018

It’s an annual affair. And volunteers for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation keep getting it done in the southeastern corner of Washington. They recently gathered for the 15th year in a row to spice up elk habitat at the Asotin Creek Wildlife Area.

“A huge success with our Asotin work project this year. We had over 30 volunteers who helped with the removal of several miles of barbed wire fencing, cleaning up several guzzlers & water troughs, plus a great Saturday evening dinner with a rotisserie roasted pig plus everyone bringing side dishes. The weather was great and the volunteers even better.”
