Beginning March 19, the Utah Division of Wildlife Services (DWR) plans to have all of its 2018 big game permit recommendations available online.
“If you enjoy hunting or viewing big game, it’s a great time to live in Utah,” said Covy Jones, DWR big game coordinator.
Proposed quotas for elk are the same are slightly higher than a year ago.

Buck deer, buck pronghorn, bull moose and Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep are among the animals for which DWR biologists are recommending a permit increase.
A series of public meetings are scheduled to allow sportsmen and women to provide public comment.
