At 85 years old, 22-year RMEF Life Member Dick Kelton refuses to quit. He hasn’t skipped a hunting season since he was 13 in 1949. In 2021, Mr. Kelton wrote a letter to RMEF president and CEO, Kyle Weaver, expressing his appreciation for what RMEF has done for elk and for him as a hunter throughout his lifetime.
So in the fall of 2021, RMEF worked with the Express UU Bar Ranch in New Mexico to give him the opportunity to hunt elk one last time. Special thanks to our RMEF Films partner Buck Knives. Thanks to their commitment to conservation, RMEF is able to tell this story.
