Elk NetworkShed Hunting Season Now Open in Nevada

General | May 7, 2018

Shed hunting season open and underway statewide in Nevada. The Nevada Board of Wildlife Commissioners closed the gathering of shed antlers in several counties earlier this year until April 30.

Biologists and game managers ask those seeking fallen antlers to not get too close to elk or mule deer. They are also encouraged to keep their cars and trucks on two tracks and roads so as to not damage habitat.
