MISSOULA, Mont. — The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation’s 2022 Mountain Festival, presented by onX Hunt, will feature world class country music performers, hunting storytellers, outdoor industry vendors and other entertainment outside in the shadows of the Wasatch Mountains at Canyons Village in Park City, Utah, July 21-24.
“We are grateful to return to beautiful Park City to hold our Mountain Festival activities,” said Kyle Weaver, RMEF president and CEO.
“We appreciate our volunteers, members, sponsors, and invite everyone to join us in the mountains for four days of elk, hunting and conservation celebration.”
Nightly entertainment includes concerts by Heath Sanders, a songwriters round from Shane Minor and the husband-wife duo of Wyatt and Holly McCubbin, and OutdoorClass Storyteller Night with Randy Newberg, Corey Jacobsen, John Barklow and Jaime Teigan. Admission is free to the Mountain Festival including all the nightly outdoor concerts.
Headlining additional events are the 2022 RMEF World Elk Calling Championships, presented by Sportsman’s Warehouse, on July 22-23, featuring world class competitors in six different divisions with more than $45,000 in cash and gear prizes up for grabs. Registration for interested elk callers remains open until July 13 at 5 p.m. (MDT).
The Total Archery Challenge features more than 100 3D archery targets across six different courses up on the mountain. It includes a stationary kids range and novelty shots with a chance to win multiple prizes including a truck.
The Mountain Festival Live Stage, presented by Leupold, hosts live Q&A podcasts, cooking, hunting, fitness, gear and other demonstrations and seminars. And the outdoor concourse features interactive activities and products from approximately 80 different outdoor industry vendors.
