Elk NetworkPoacher Sought in Olympic National Park

A visitor to Olympic National Park in Washington reported a dead cow elk on Upper Hoh Road on February 15, 2019. Investigators determined the poachers made no effort to remove the meat.

Olympic National Park maintains it protects the largest population of Roosevelt elk in its natural environment in the world.
