Lightweight, breathable and agile, the Ursa ES is tailor-made for the unique demands of early season hunts, such as variable temperatures, water crossings and the need to cover serious mileage at rapid pace.
The boot’s upper is made from a combination of breathable nylon and durable suede, striking a careful balance of weight and durability that won’t weigh you down, but stands up strong season after season and mile after mile. These materials were also carefully chosen to minimize break-in time so you can get out there as soon as possible. The Ursa ES is equipped with a GORE-TEX liner to provide 100% waterproof protection that still allows feet to breathe, for ultimate versatility in the variable conditions of early season. You’ll be able to stay dry when fast-moving rain storms roll through, and stay cool when hustling through the arid heat of the high desert in late summer.
Underfoot, LaCrosse outfitted the Ursa ES with a bi-fit board that combines the shank, lasting board and midsole into a single platform that reduces weight without sacrificing support, keeping you moving quickly and confidently across rugged, variable terrain. The midsole is made from rubberized EVA material that supplies exceptional cushioning and shock absorption. LaCrosse collaborated with Vibram®, the industry-leading outsole manufacturer, to create a custom outsole for the Ursa ES that’s specifically designed to tackle the terrain you’ll encounter in pursuit of early-season game. Plus, the outsole is made with Vibram®’s game-changing Megagrip rubber compound for unmatched traction in both wet and dry conditions, making the Ursa ES an extremely versatile boot that punches above its weight.
The Ursa ES is the latest release in LaCrosse’s new Ursa Collection, following in the footsteps of last year’s revolutionary midseason boot, the Ursa MS.
