INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 lbs elk venison, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 lb mild pork sausage links (5-6 links)
  • 2 tbs olive oil
  • 2 yellow onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 (15 oz) can cannellini beans
  • 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can chicken broth
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 5 thyme springs
  • 2 pay leaves

DIRECTIONS:

This is an easy one. Using a non-stick CanCooker JR or Companion, place all ingredients in CanCooker and place CanCooker onto a burner using medium low heat and heat until steaming. Cook for 30-45 minutes.

Serve with toasted bread!
