Last year, Mathews took the archery world by storm when they introduced their award-winning Triax. And now, they’ve outdone themselves with the all-new Vertix.
The new Vertix features the same highly-efficient Crosscentric Cam system found on the Triax, but one key difference can be found in the cam modules or mods, for short. They call it SwitchWeight Technology. This patent-pending design enables shooters to increase or decrease draw weight in 5-pound increments without the need for a bow press or pro shop. Simply remove the existing mod with an Allen wrench and replace it with another one.
As soon as you hold the bow, you’ll notice the newly designed Engage grip. The slim ergonomic design makes it comfortable for all shooters as it ensures consistent hand placement, which helps reduce torque and increase accuracy.
If you look closely, you’ll also see a new dovetail mounting system, which was designed to attach an all-new Mathews rest. This compact, micro-adjust rest allows for quick and easy setup while providing precision tuning both horizontally and vertically.
Like the Triax, the Vertix features 3D Damping Technology that offers unparalleled noise-reduction and vibration dampening. The design and location of the Enhanced Harmonic Stabilizer (EHS) drastically reduces post-shot noise and virtually eliminates felt recoil.
Mathews CEO and Chief Engineer Matt McPherson says this is hands down the best bow they’ve ever created. After you shoot it, we think you’ll agree.
