The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation seeks to improve wildlife habitat and make it more accessible for hunting and other recreational activities. Since 1984, RMEF and its partners permanently protected or enhanced more than 8 million acres of habitat and opened or improved access to more than 1.3 million acres.

 

Since 1987, RMEF completed more than 750 conservation and hunting heritage projects in Colorado that protected or enhanced almost 500,000 acres and opened or improved access to 121,000 acres.
