I fly fish and use a rod and reel on creeks and lakes in Montana. I caught this fish about a month ago while fishing with some friends. I tried to get out fishing this spring as soon as I could and this was about my fifth time out.
To me, fishing is great because it’s getting outside and seeing everything on foot that you can’t see from a road – the birds, the animals and everything. It’s an adrenaline rush to catch a fish and if it’s bigger – it’s even better. The same goes for shooting – I love to hunt grouse, deer and elk. It’s a lot of fun and great to be outdoors.Nathan Dowdy,
