Elk NetworkWyoming Women Step Up to Help Elk, Elk Habitat

The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation knows how to look out for elk and elk country. It also knows how to host a good party. Put the two together and you’ve got the latest in a series of what we call Women for Wildlife events. And in Wyoming, the ladies in the Cowboy State know how to have a good time for a great cause.

The Big Horn Basin and Sweetwater Chapters recently whooped it up and raised close to $40,000 for RMEF’s conservation mission.

“The women doing the organizing and work on the events are doing fantastic jobs and having fun doing them,” said Jill Tonn, RMEF regional director in Wyoming. “The guys that help out are making sure the attendees have a blast, and we are raising some extra money for elk country.”

Thanks ladies!
