Elk NetworkWisconsin Elk Thriving in Two Herds

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources wants you to know it is keeping an eye on its two elk herds. The Clam Lake herd is in the northern part of the state while those in the Black River Forest are in the south.

The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and its partners are part of ongoing efforts to bolster the state’s elk population.
