RMEF, HuntingGPSmaps Announce Collaboration

Missoula, MT –
The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is announcing a partnership with HuntingGPSmaps, a company that helps hunters spend less time trying to decipher where they are on a map and more time hunting.  It also benefits RMEF chapters around the country.

HuntingGPSmaps creates color-coded GPS maps of property ownership displaying federal, state, county, and private lands, and multiple other features specifically designed to meet the needs of the outdoor community.

“Their product is truly revolutionary,” said RMEF Vice President of Marketing Steve Decker.  “We see many product gimmicks come and go in this industry but HuntingGPSmaps has developed a tool that is as core to an elk hunter’s gear as the boots on your feet.”

“Obviously, it’s going to do huge things in terms of recognition for our product. To have a collaborating partner like RMEF is amazing,” said Rob Hart, vice president of business operations for HuntingGPSmaps.  “You can’t get any bigger in terms of conservation for the big game hunting community.”

The collaboration allows HuntingGPSmaps to be a sponsor for RMEF Team Elk, soon to begin its second season on Outdoor Channel.  HuntingGPSmaps will also make its products available to RMEF chapters for fundraising banquets around the country.

“RMEF will be an integral part of our success this year.  There’s no doubt about that,” said Hart.
