Elk NetworkFirst Shot Success

General | April 7, 2017

My dad and I got up early in the morning in a general hunting area and set off to hunt. We parked at the top of a ridge. My dad fell off one side of the ridge and I went off the other side.

After only about 10 minutes of me walking towards the trees, I looked up to see a buck. I walked through the trees and I pulled up on him with my rifle at 20 yards away. I put my scope right behind his shoulder and squeezed the trigger. The first shot dropped him on his nose.
