Officials need your help finding who illegally killed a cow elk and then dragged it behind a truck in the West Kootenays, a region in southeast British Columbia, Canada.

Authorities say someone poached the elk on April 5, 2020 in Kresova, dragged the animal behind their light-colored pickup some three miles through both that small town and New Settlement before dumping the carcass in Pass Creek near Castlegar.

In addition to wasting the meat, the suspect may face a series of other charges.
