In the face of the winter’s worst, only the best components made the cut though LaCrosse’s rigorous testing process. That’s why the Ursa LS 400G is outfitted with best-in-class insulation and waterproofing components from PrimaLoft® and GORE-TEX. 400 grams of PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation provide warmth without weight, with industry-leading durability and repeated compression for dependable warmth, season after season. The 100% waterproof GORE-TEX liner keeps out rain, snow, slush and ice while still allowing feet to breathe as you put in the miles, for reliable comfort and protection from the elements; no wet socks or cold feet to be found here. The boot features a four-way stretch collar around the ankle that provides a comfortable, secure fit and prevents debris from entering so you can stay firmly focused on the hunt and the trail ahead — if there is one.
Underfoot, LaCrosse outfitted the Ursa LS 400G with a bi-fit board that combines the shank, lasting board, and midsole into a single platform that reduces weight without sacrificing support, absorbing rugged terrain with ease to keep you moving quickly and confidently. The midsole is made from rubberized EVA material that supplies exceptional cushioning and shock absorption. For a final layer of protection, the midsole is wrapped in a 360-degree rubber mudguard that defends against sharp and rough surfaces, enhancing abrasion resistance and durability to keep your boots in service as long as possible.
LaCrosse collaborated with Vibram®, the industry-leading outsole manufacturer, to create a custom outsole for the Ursa LS 400G. Deep, self-cleaning lugs shed mud and debris with ease, while Vibram® Traction Lug Technology features increased surface area to provide reliable grip on extreme terrain and through adverse conditions.
