2007 Outstanding Chapter Awards
More than 500 Elk Foundation chapters across the country drove home their commitment to conserving elk country with a record-breaking fundraising year in 2007. Chapters held 699 events and raised a net revenue of just over $15 million, setting a new record for chapter fundraising! This included $9,776,000 in event net (auctions, raffles, drawings, meals, etc), $3,071,000 in membership net and $2,154,000 in donations.
“Each and every RMEF volunteer should take great pride in their collective success on behalf of the foundation's mission,” says Steve Decker, RMEF director of field programs.
